We’ve got some fantastic news. Road collisions and injuries have plummeted along roads at the coast after the recent changes. In fact 2025 saw almost no reports of anyone seriously injured along coastal roads.
Official police records show many of our neighbours have been spared a horrible experience as our streets became safer for everyone, including children. More to do but things definitely getting better.
Huge thanks to all of those who’ve worked to improve our coast. Lower speeds mean safer streets, 20 really is plenty where people are.
