Tom was elected as one of Tynemouth\u2019s Ward Councillors in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his day job Tom runs his own business as Director of a Traffic Data company. He’s lived in Tynemouth just off Broadway for nearly 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom describes himself as a “typical 90’s dad”, his kids Izzy & Sam, grew up locally and went to Kings Priory School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Transport consultant with decades of experience working in the built environment. He’s now putting that knowledge to use helping residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom campaigned on environmental and road safety issues for many years before becoming a Labour & Cooperative Councillor. A Labour & Co-operative councillor is a member of both the Labour Party and the Co-operative Party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom joined the Co-operative Party in addition to the Labour Party after being impressed by their ideas on community energy projects which may be something we can use in North Tyneside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
